Women's Retreat

Plan now to join the women of West Side at St. Marguerite's Retreat House, May 17-19, for a time to have fun, nourish your spirit, and challenge yourself. Together we will "explore living and loving with your whole heart." Rev. Liz Junod will lead us in our journey towards learning to love ourselves so that we are empowered to love others and God with our whole heart. Visit the Women's Retreat Table in the narthex after worship or contact Sharon Ruger, sruppert920@aol.com, or Eileen Heuer, eileenheuer@gmail.com, for information.

Presbyterian Women

This group is active within several other groups, including Feisty Ladies. Each year the women go on at least one weekend retreat. They meet as a larger group once a month, in order to become better acquainted with and connected to projects and concerns of Presbyterian Women worldwide.

Feisty Ladies

Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in the Dining Room:  This ministry of care and service includes the making of lap blankets and prayer shawls for those hospitalized or homebound, knitting infant and children's caps for distribution at Valley Hospital, Asheville, NC, Armenia, and the homeless shelter. The members also make hand-sewn head scarves for those undergoing chemotherapy and cut stamps for use by the Veterans' Association
