Summer Choir School
The Summer Choir School is open to all children who will have completed grades 2-8, regardless of church affiliation.
Every day Choir School participants have a small choir rehearsal and two all-school rehearsals. Bible study, varied worship experiences, and an elective activity, ranging from cooking, dance, and crafts to handbells, Orff instruments, and yoga, complete the morning schedule. At the end of the week the children sing in a closing service, which is open to the public.
An excellent staff, some of whom were once Summer Choir School choristers themselves, leads the program under the direction of Joanne Harris Rodland, Minister of Music at West Side, and Deborah Holden-Holloway, Associate Minister of Music.
