Instruments
The Ministry of Music encourages instrumentalists to offer their gifts during worship, as well as at special programs during the year. Small ensembles and soloists provide preludes, postludes, and accompaniments to anthems during worship throughout the year. Please let us know about your talents by contacting the Music Office, ext. 31.
Youth String Ensemble
West Side initiated a new program for our young string players, providing an avenue for their talents to enrich our worship. Young people with at least three years experience on violin, viola, or cello are encouraged to contact Deborah Holden-Holloway for further information. Rehearsals are arranged as needed.
West Side Recorder Consort
West Side's newest ensemble will meet occasionally to prepare preludes and other worship music. A matched set of Rottenburgh recorders was given by West Side by organ colleague John Bullough. We are pleased to be using these instruments in the Consort. Contact Deborah Holden-Holloway if interested in participating.
