Kids and Teens

Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word.

Sunday School

Orange, our vibrant Sunday School strategy for preschool through 7th grade, combines the light of the church (yellow) with the heart of the family (red) to form a lifelong faith in Christ (orange). Each month has a theme—kindness, love—that is carried through with easy lessons to do at home. There’s even an app (Parent Cue) that you can use on the go! The result? Home + Church = Greater Impact.

Sunday School takes place during both the 9:00 am (Contemporary) and 11:00 am (Traditional) services. We're excited to welcome you and your children on Sunday morning! Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to "check in." Click here to register online and eliminate paperwork! Masks are required for children under the age of 12 .

Kids Club + Music

Crafts, games, Bible stories, music - it all adds up to faith-based fun for K-8 kids every Thursday from 4:00 to 5:45 pm from September through June. Click here to sign up.

Middle School Youth Group

Does your middle schooler like to play Among Us? Our 6th and 7th graders meet online twice a month (September through June)  - the first Tuesday and third Wednesday at 5:30 pm - for an hour of fun and connection through this super popular game. Email Pastor Penny for the Zoom link.

High School Youth Group

Every Sunday at 7:00 pm, from September through June, high schoolers get together for a low-key hour of fun, fellowship and faith formation with Pastor Penny. It’s a great opportunity for kids to escape the stress and pressure of school, be themselves, make new friends and serve the community too. Email Pastor Penny for more information.

Confirmation Class

Once a week from October through May, eighth graders meet with Pastor Penny for our FOCUS (Finding Ourselves in Christ through Unity and Service) Confirmation Class. Together, the teens explore their personal faith, delve deeper into what it means to be a Christian, participate in meaningful service projects, and prepare to publicly profess their faith and become "official" members of West Side. Along the way, bonds are formed and lasting friendships are built. Email Pastor Penny for more information.
