Join Pastor Marc's group of early risers to embark on a six-week journey starting September 10! Amidst the backdrop of an important national election, we invite you to explore the deep connections between our faith and democracy through Parker Palmer's Healing the Heart of Democracy. Led by Pastor Marc Oehler, this timely study will not only reflect on the democratic system of the United States, which was inspired by the Presbyterian Church of Scotland but also highlight the beauty and power of our own Presbyterian Church as a representative democracy. Together, we will envision a healthy democracy—a community where every voice is heard, every person is valued, and collective wisdom guides our decisions. The class is open to all and meets every Tuesday morning from 7:30-8:30 am in person or virtually and every Tuesday night from 7:30-8:30 pm virtually, beginning September 10! Join us for meaningful dialogue and a chance to strengthen our communal bonds.
