This Fall we’ll dive into two powerful voices from scripture: Amos and Isaiah.
Amos came from humble beginnings, yet boldly spoke truth to the powerful, calling out injustice and lifting up the poor. His words about justice rolling down like mighty waters later inspired Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Isaiah gave us some of the most beautiful visions of hope and restoration in the Bible.
And we’ll also peek into Ezekiel, with his unforgettable visions—like the wheel in the middle of a wheel, echoed in African American spirituals.
We’ll meet on Monday mornings from 7:30–8:30 a.m. on Zoom—a new time to begin the week with a jolt of truth, hope, and God’s call for justice that still speaks today.
