The "lustrous, commanding soprano," as heralded by The New York Times, is a powerful and innovative artist! She will perform works by Debussy, Sibelius, Strauss and Wagner, accompanied by acclaimed pianist Craig Ketter, and Scott Brubaker on horn obbligato.
Moore made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera this past season as First Lady in The Magic Flute and returns this season for a revival of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk and Die Zauberflote. She also has performed with the New Orleans Opera, Opera Maine, San Diego Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Las Vegas Philharmonic and Florida Orchestra, to name just a few.
Fun fact: Moore didn't grow up listening to classical music or opera. She names Eileen Farrell, Etta James and Led Zeppelin as the top musical inspirations in her life.
