Peter Tomasi

May 09, 2021

Longtime member Peter Tomasi passed away on Mother's Day, May 9, at the age of 77. Peter served as an Elder and Deacon at West Side, had a lifelong love of music (he played clarinet with the Ridgewood Concert Band) and was active with the Boy Scouts of America. Please keep Peter's wife of more than 50 years, Carol, his sons, Peter and John, and the rest of his family in your prayers. Click here to read Peter's obituary.

I still remember Peter sitting with Carol in the front row of the contemporary service, when we began in the basement of West Side. It was hard for him to get there in his later years, but it was always a joy to see him. West Side, the community, and so many of us, have been blessed by his service. Thank you, Peter!

I enjoyed getting to know Peter and Carol in the years we had our evening Contemporary Worship. Always a warm and open man. He was a kind and loving friend to so many, and I know he will be missed. Much love to the family as you grieve his loss. Praying you are surrounded with friends and family to help ease your way through this difficult time. Blessings, Liz
