Here are some ways we can use our gifts to give back.
The mission of Eva's Village is to provide those in need with hope, support and resources to live stable, healthy and productive lives.
Eva’s Village is dedicated to ensuring that community members experiencing poverty, food and housing insecurity, underlying issues with substance use, mental or physical health disorders and lack of job readiness have the tools they need to overcome barriers to healthy, stable lives.
Eva’s Community Kitchen prepares and serves hundreds of thousands of free healthy meals to community members experiencing or at risk of homelessness and poverty each year. But, Eva’s Kitchen is more than a place for a free meal; it is often a point of entry to our comprehensive antipoverty programs and many neighbors choose to take the next step toward recovery, stability and wellbeing.

Join us for a meaningful day of service at Eva’s Village as we help serve meals and connect with our neighbors experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Come be the hands and feet of Christ as we serve together! Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.

This Advent, we’re turning faith into something you can see and touch. Our goal: $30,000 to bring love to life through:
meal-packing events right here at West Side.
sending youth + adults to repair homes and build hope.
Because LOVE isn’t just something we say. It’s something we DO.
Give today at westside.org/give → choose "2025 Advent Mission." Let’s awaken the world with love—right here, right now.
Please fill an extra grocery bag or two in support of our food drive for neighbors in need.
Your gift will help fill a bag with hope, warmth, and a holiday meal for a family in need.
Donations may be dropped off at West Side Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, or Sunday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The most-needed items include:
Don't throw away your produce bags, bubble wrap, newspaper sleeves, or dry cleaning bags. Bring them to West Side! Drop your clean, dry, recyclable plastic bags in one of the white bins located in the lobby and narthex.
Not sure what's recyclable?
Here's a test: If the plastic stretches when you pull it, it's recyclable. If it tears like paper, is shiny, or makes a crinkly sound in your hand (like a chip bag or a candy bar wrapper), it's NOT recyclable.
Donations may be dropped off at West Side Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, or Sunday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
