West Side Teens

Our goal is to help our youth become true disciples of Jesus Christ by building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word.

Middle School Youth Group

Our 6th–8th graders meet Sundays at 10:30 a.m. (September–June) at the Barn for an hour of fun, connection, and faith formation. Each month, we also gather for Barnstormers, a fellowship night on the third Sunday from 5:00–6:30 p.m.A highlight of the year is a weekend retreat at Camp Johnsonburg in December!

High School Youth Group

High schoolers meet Sundays at 7:00 p.m. (September–June) for a relaxed hour of fun, fellowship, and faith formation. It’s a space to take a break from school stress, be yourself, make friends, and serve the community together. In the fall, we look forward to our weekend retreat at Camp Johnsonburg.

Confirmation

Twice a month from September through May, teens meet with Pastor Christine for our FOCUS (Finding Ourselves in Christ through Unity and Service) Confirmation Class. Together, they explore their personal faith, dive deeper into what it means to be a Christian, participate in meaningful service projects, and prepare to publicly profess their faith and become "official" members of West Side. Along the way, bonds are formed and lasting friendships are built.

Interested? Fill out our Confirmation Interest Form or Email Pastor Christine to get started.

Summer Service Project

This past Summer, the youth served with the Appalachia Service Project in West Virginia, helping to make homes warmer, safer, and drier.

Future Dates: TBD

Where: TBD

Why: To serve others, make a difference, use your gifts, and live out your faith!
